Guitars Number 58: Player Response & Bent Top
|This photo is the parts of Trinity Guitar #58 just before I started
the assembly of the instrument. The bend in the top can be seen on
the right side of the top. Look close at the end of the neck for the
complicated joint needed for the bent top construction. Check back
for more photos of #58 as I progress with the construction. This guitar
features the Bent Top and Player
|This photo shows the guitar being assembled in the Spanish heal
construction method. This method makes the jointing for the bent top
very tricky. Click on photo for larger image. Note the unique back
|Here we see the #58 guitar with the back assembled to it. I will
now be working on the inlay of the binding and purfling on the body.

This guitar was sold very
soon after completion. The woods for the next Bent top have been selected.
Look back for a page on Trinity Guitars # 62. That guitar has an expected
completion in late 2003. It will be Indian Rosewood with a Western Red
The finish will French polish with the top only French polish
and the sides and back with a light over coat of lacquer over the French
polish. The backs and sides are Indian Rosewood. The bindings are rosewood
and the rosette is traditional. The guitar includes a deluxe plush lined
plywood case with a case cover.
