The guitar in the photos here is Trinity Guitars #47 by Jim Holler. The
#61 will be of similar appointments. In process photos will be added to
the page as the guitar is being built. The Brazilian Rosewood selected
for this guitar is very dark and of very high quality. The sides are already
bent and the back is prepared for jointing.
The
top is of a very special group of hand split 30 year old Western Red Cedar
stock I purchased several years ago. Rare for cedar is the silking visible
in the top. The finish is French polish with the top only French polish
and the sides and back with a light over coat of lacquer over the French
polish. The backs and sides are truly exceptional Brazilian Rosewood.
The binding is Brazilian Rosewood and the rosette is hand made by Jim
Holler from spalted maple.
The guitar includes a deluxe plush lined plywood case with a case cover.
The design of this guitar and the model can be changed. If you are interested
in this guitar and would like to change the design please contact
Jim Holler.
