Project Chacocente
www.OutoftheDump.org moves families from the city dump in Managua,
Nicaragua to the clean air and
fertile soil of rural Masaya, where
the people learn skills that enable them to live independently. Project Chacocente is
a non-profit, integrated project
that aims to transform people
rather than simply feeding or housing them termporarily.
Trinity Guitars and TJ Baden have teamed up to sponsor a fund-raising raffle for a $2,646 Baden Style A rosewood/spruce guitar. All of the money raised from ticket sales will be used to help relocate familes currently living on the dump who are in desperate need. The drawing will be held on November 9, 2008, at the Mayville Guitar show.
Tickets are priced at three for $10.60 and can be purchased online using the PayPal link below. They will also be available at the guitar show. Online ticket buyers will get an email confirmation and a facsimile of their tickets.
Online contributions not involving the purchase of raffle tickets can also be made directly to Project Chacocente
